I corridoi umanitari vennero creati nel 2015 dalla Federazione delle chiese evangeliche per contrastare il periodo di piena emergenza rifugiati in Italia. Con i corridoi umanitari si dà la possibilità ai rifugiati di venire in un paese europeo in modo totalmente legale e sicuro riducendo così i casi di morte in mari o il traffico di esseri umani. Oltre alla sicurezza i corridoi umanitari forniscono integrazione ed è per questo che i beneficiari fin dal primo momento vengono seguiti finché non approdano nello stato europeo che avevano scelto. Una volta approdati vengono inseriti in percorso che darà a loro le basi per essere autonomi in un paese a loro estraneo. I corridoi umanitari sono gestiti da organizzazioni della società civile con fondi privati infatti per questo non influiscono se non in minima parte sul bilancio dello Stato. In Italia vengono finanziati dai fondi dell’otto per mille. Fin da quando sono state create hanno dato risultati molto positivi ad esempio secondo dei dati calcolati nel 2019 in Europa sono arrivati 2760 rifugiati, salvi, di cui: 2.239 in Italia, 364 in Francia, 150 in Belgio e 7 ad Andorra.

HUMANITARIAN CORRIDORS
The humanitarian corridors were created in 2015 by the Federation of Evangelical Churches to counter the period of full emergency refugees in Italy. Humanitarian corridors enable refugees to come to a European country in a totally legal and safe way, thus reducing deaths at sea or human trafficking. In addition to security, the humanitarian corridors provide integration and that is why the beneficiaries are followed from the outset until they reach the European state they have chosen. Once landed they are inserted in a path that will give them the basis to be autonomous in a country foreign to them. The humanitarian corridors are run by civil society organizations with private funds, which is why they have little or no impact on the state budget. In Italy they are financed by the funds of eight per thousand. Since they were created they have given very positive results. For example, according to the data calculated in 2019 in Europe 2760 refugees have arrived of which: 2,239 in Italy, 364 in France, 150 in Belgium and 7 in Andorra.
